Road Trip (kind of) Day 10 - 12: Mexico City Wrap Up

We had a great time in Mexico City - a great city with more of a European feel than other areas in Mexico that I have visited.

There were a lot of laughs and it was awesome to have one last long weekend with #kwestiebesties. I think one of my favorite, and blog appropriate stories is the creation of Speel-glish - the new popular "Spanish" language that Chirs started using while in Mexico - anyone can do it, just take an English word and annunciate in a very strange place or add an O.

Here are a few more pics to round out the trip:

View from the castle in Chapultepec park - this was one of our fav places
Chorros and Coffee at El Moro - we walked for 3 hours to find this place!
It was worth it :)
So many beautiful buildings, we just stumbled upon this one, no clue what it actually is
On top of the Temple of the Sun looking toward the Temple of the Moon

The ruins were amazing - me, Chris, Brad and SK - in between two smaller temples
The scariest cab ride ever - Katie was a champ in the front seat, you can't really tell but the passenger seat is leaning into the driver and the rearview mirror has a sticker on it that says "Allison"....

  1. Maybe the cab driver was just a huge Elvis Costello fan.
